As much as I truly love meeting new families that are referred to me, there's something wonderful about being able to shoot portraits for friends as old and dear as these. Oh how I love the Mayne family. I met both Pete and Jana (whose individual family portrait is below) through my ex-husband about 12 years ago and they have remained close friends, even though we don't have the opportunity to see each other as much as we used to. I am so blessed to have them as friends...and love the many memories we have together.
Until the Mayne family has a chance to review all of the images from their shoot and choose the 10 shots that THEY would like for me to edit, I thought it would be fun to choose a few of MY faves to edit and post as a little sneak peek.

{the larsen fam}
What fun it was to be reunited with this great family that I grew up with in my neighborhood...and to see how much they have GROWN!!! This family of 7 has MORE than tripled into an absolutely wonderful large happy fam! And I have to be honest with you....groups this size usually terrify the crud out of me. Well, they used to. Not so much anymore...but still. And yet, I wish you could have witnessed this amazing family. This group of 29 was easier than some families of 5. I kid you not. You would have been amazed...these little ones were ALL so ridiculously well-behaved. I was SO impressed.

{the foster fam}
Nothing better for a photographer, than having previous clients refer you to their friends and family. Such a wonderful compliment. So fun to meet this absolutely breathtaking family that was referred to me by the cute Mecham family whose portraits I did last summer. And seriously...could this family be anymore GORGEOUS?! WOW!
In addition to family portraits, I also shot individual portraits of all of the kids. SUCH beautiful kids...and how seriously ADORABLE is this set of twins?! SO CUTE!!
I had so much fun watching this beautiful couple throughout the shoot. They've been married (if I remember correctly) around 15 years and are still so crazy in love. I love that. You can SEE their love in these great pictures....

Such an honor to do portraits of some of my most loyal clients and friends this past weekend. I think this has to be the 4th or 5th year that this beautiful Nelson family has asked me to take their family pictures. So fun to watch their family grow through the years.

{duncan fam}
Oh good glory..how I LOVE my job! Can 'meeting new and amazing people that are SO MUCH FUN and bring you SO MUCH LIGHT....all while making them laugh and bringing out their happiest selves' even be CONSIDERED "work?" Amazing. I love what I do. This family is a perfect example of WHY I love what I do.
If ever a photographer and a family had RIDICULOUSLY awesome "chemistry," WE had it....for sure. So loved working with this great family, that I quickly discovered, shares my same "quick-witted" sense of humor. What a blast!
In addition to their family pictures, we also did individual portraits of each of them for their home, facebook and business profiles. SUCH a beautiful..and CRAZY awesome family.
We even had a girlfriend slip in for a few shots! SO FUN! ;-)
Until the Duncan fam has a chance to review ALL of the images from this fun shoot and choose the 10 images that they would like me to edit, I thought that it would be fun for me to choose a few of MY faves to edit as a little sneak peek. Generally, I choose 10-12 images for SAMPLE EDITS. As you can see, I went a little crazy...how the CRUD could I limit it to only 10-12?! I had a BAZILLION faves! Hope the Duncan fam is as pleased with these proofs as I am!
Not only was this wonderful family SO MUCH FUN to shoot, but they have proven to be a very GREAT and Divine blessing in my life (after only a matter of days)...and will in turn, through me, bless many other lives as well. Love this family already and am so grateful that I had the opportunity to do their family portraits, and mission portraits for the oldest son this weekend. So much fun...and so blessed to have these wonderful people in my life.

What fun to have had the opportunity to do a MISSIONARY shoot this past weekend and discover that the soon-to-be Elder was one of the great youth that I worked with for the Youth Temple Celebration a few years ago. So fun to see him again...all grown up and ready to leave on his mission next week.
Cute Elder Duncan wasn't alone at the shoot, however. He was accompanied by his beautiful girlfriend that has been by his side the past year and a half and will be one of his greatest supporters while he is away on his mission. SUCH a cute gal...I could have photographed this couple all day long! Love these fun pics....
