Another beautiful overcast day in December here in Utah and another fabulous family photo shoot...my second to last shoot of 2010. So fun to get together with this cute family today and be able to take their family portraits, which turned out so cute despite the chill in the air.
I'm not sure what it is about this next picture that I love so much...but I do love it...so freaking much. I love everything about it. The little guy squishing his cheeks, daddy tickling his babies, hair blowing in the wind, giggles...pure awesomeness. Love it!
After a little while, we needed to sorta "refresh" our smiles....which is where pulling a "fish face" comes into play...followed by what I soon learned would be the result when I ask little ones to "give me their BIGGEST SMILES EVER!" LOL!
Until this family has a chance to review all of the images from their shoot and decide which 10 images they would like for me to edit, I thought it would be fun to choose a few of MY faves to edit and post as a little sneak peek.

Oh my heart! I am not sure I could have been any more excited for a shoot than I was a few days ago when I had the opportunity to take pictures of my dear soul friend and her beautiful family for the first time since little baby was born a few months ago. Seems like just yesterday we were just shooting their pre-baby family pictures and Christy's prenatals..and here he is! And can you STAND IT? How freaking cute is this little new little one...and this ENTIRE family?!
Unfortunately, it was about 87 degrees below zero (might be a slight exaggeration. LOL!)...so it was FREEEEEZING! As a result, we decided to choose only a few spots and then just shoot a bunch of different shots in those few spots instead of walking around forever in the cold. We ended up with so many RIDICULOUSLY awesome shots. How can you even possibly go wrong with a family this gorgeous?! Good GRIEF!
Until the crazy awesome and beautiful Jex fam has a chance to review all of the pics from their shoot and choose the 10 images that THEY would like for me to edit, I thought it would be fun for me to choose a few of MY faves to edit and post as a little sneak peek for them. As you can see, I had a hard time keeping it to just "a few." :-)
Still so in love....LOVE IT!!!! (As if I would forget to do a few kissing shots...no matter HOW cold it is outside. LOL! YOU KNOW IT!)

Another great family that I was able to photograph this past week...and right in time for Christmas. So fun to see my friend Laura, whose pictures I have been taking for years now, after WAY too long between visits. Couldn't believe how big her kids have gotten. So fun to see them last week for their shoot. And other than being a little chilly, it was a PERFECT picture day!!

The past few weeks, I went from having 5-10 photo shoots a week, to doing purely editing, Christmas cards, etc..and it has been CRAZY busy (taking me often through the night most nights). What fun to take a break from all of the editing and Christmas card designs and get back to doing a few photo shoots this past weekend. And what a way to get back to it...with the gorgeous Lealaogata family.
Until the Lealaogata family has a chance to review all of their images from this shoot and choose the shots that they would like for me to edit, I thought it would be fun to choose a few of MY faves to edit and post as a little sneak peek.
Other than a cool wind, we couldn't have asked for a more mild and perfect day for pictures. Considering it's December in Utah, that's FABULOUS! These kids were so freaking adorable and PROS at getting their pictures taken. In addition to their family shots, we did a bunch of individual portraits..including ones of mom and dad, for business and personal use. Have you ever seen a more gorgeous Mama? WOW!
And love these shots of Dad, who started pulling "GQ Poses" just to be funny...that actually turned out pretty dang awesome! We ended up with a TON of great shots in a really short amount of time. Love that!
And it goes without saying, that we had to shoot a few kissing shots, right? You know my work well enough to know that that is a MUST! ;-) So VOILA...."Lealaogatas in Love"....
