Gotta love a Senior that thinks ahead! So fun to be able to do a fabulously fun SENIOR photo shoot...and NOT the week before graduation. LOL! Happy day! I had so much fun taking pics of beautiful Danielle this week. She is so full of personality and nothing short of breathtakingly beautiful!!! A photographer's dream!

 

 
 

Until Danielle has a chance to review all of the images from her shoot and choose the 10 shots that she would like for me to edit, I thought it would be fun to choose a few of MY faves to edit and post as a little sneak peek.
 
In addition to a few sample edits, I threw in a few personalization ideas that I thought would be fun. I hope Danielle is as pleased with these few proofs as I am.

Have you ever met one of those beautiful families that is so amazing and kind and giving that there simply aren't words to decribe them adequately? This is one of those families. I am so honored to have met this good family through my little sister. I heard about them for years and was so excited to finally meet all of them together this past week for a family portrait sitting.
 
 
 
The positive energy of this family is overwhelming and I count myself extremely blessed to have been asked to be their family photographer this year. I only hope that my work does both their inner and outer beauty justice.
 
 
 
 
 
Not only is this one of the most beautiful families I have ever seen, but they are also one of the MOST FUN!!! It's always a treat for a photographer when there is a family SO COMPLETELY BURSTING with personality. It makes our job EXTREMELY EASY!!! ("People like juice...." LOL!)

What an honor it was to finally meet this entire family after hearing their praises from my little sister for so very long. They brought such a sweet and FUN spirit with them and I am so blessed to now have them as MY friends as well.

Surprisingly enough, I haven't often had the opportunity to do photo shoots of my neighbors. I was especially excited when my friend Katie, who was my neighbor for 8 years before we moved almost 2 months ago, asked me to take her family portraits this year.
 
 

 
Our little ones have grown up with each other, literally from birth, and it was fun to take official portraits of them after years and years of candid "playing in the cul-de-sac" shots! LOL!
 
  
 
 
And of course, in the midst of all of these adorable shots, we simply HAD to throw in a KISSING shot....and a SILLY one too! Good times!

Anyone who knows me well, knows that I love a good challenge. Tell me I can't do something, and by crud, I will SHOW you I absolutely CAN do it and will KNOCK it out of the park while I am at it. LOL! So when these dear friends of mine approached me about a family photo shoot and daddy had a few doubts about it being worth it, since their little angel has such a hard time sitting still...it was ON!!! LOL! But in the end, it doesn't matter what I think....so Jason, how did we do? ;-)
 


 
Oh, how I love the great Richards family. This is the THIRD Richards I have been able to do portraits for this past year, starting with his brother Lance and his sister Laura. Just a few more RIchards boys left, and I will have covered the entire fam! :-)

I can hardly stand how cute this little family is. They were so lovey and snuggly with their baby girl...which made for some great candids! Love that!
 

I am always so honored when my clients like my work enough to spread the word to their friends and family. Even more fun to somehow almost become "the family photographer" for an entire family...such as this wonderful one.
 
Char and Jason, I seriously love you both and am so grateful for your friendship and the opportunity to be able to take your family portraits this year. I hope that you are as pleased as I am with these few proofs. Hopefully, I proved to Jason that when I am the photographer, there are NO worries. There is no greater compliment for a photographer, than to be asked by ANOTHER photographer to take their portraits. There is also nothing more ridiculously intimidating. LOL! What a great opportunity I had to shoot portraits of three beautiful generations of women, all related to my friend Mandi, who is SUCH an outrageously talented photographer. This is the first time since childhood, that Mandi and her sisters have had pictures taken with their mom and grandma. She decided that it was about time...and what fun we had!!


 
Other than it being OUTRAGEOUSLY windy (which actually created kind of a fun, whimsical, carefree feel to some of the shots), it was a perfect day for a photo shoot. Have you EVER seen a more strikingly beautiful group of women? Good GRACIOUS!

   
 
As you can see below, not only are these women some of the most beautiful I have ever seen....but they were SO MUCH FUN to shoot. Such fun personalities...truly a photographer's dream!!


 
 
And though this was solely meant to be a photo shoot of three generations of women, how could we NOT take a picture of Grandpa (who was such a good sport to hang out with all of these ladies all afternoon) and his granddaughters?! ;-)

Are these not four of THE cutest kids you have EVER seen?  I might be slightly partial as their aunt, but seriously....SO love these kids and think they are some of the best lookin' kids I have ever been able to take pics of. What fun we had a few weeks ago doing this photo shoot of these cute siblings.
 
 
 
 
My sister (their cute mom) came along for the ride, but it was her daughter, the lone girl in this group of boys, who was completely in charge of wardrobe for this shoot. My cute niece had planned EVERYONE'S wardrobe for 3 different wardrobe changes. LOL! And the boys were so cute, always asking her "What do you want us to wear now?" LOL! So cute!
 
 
 
 
 
The only complaint I heard from the boys was during the moment their sister told them that one certain wardrobe change was COMPLETELY designed around her favorite pair of shoes. "Rrrreally?" LOL! But seriously...can you blame her? How crazy cute are those heels?!?! :-) LOL!
 
 
 
 
 
 
I have to admit...I am particularly proud of this next shot. LOL!

At the end of the shoot, I couldn't resist snagging my cute sister and taking a few shots of her with all of her "little ones" that are not so little any more. She wasn't planning on being in any of the pics...but I LOVE how this turned out and just HAD to include it here in this little sneak peek!!

What a thrill to be able to do another male portrait session this past week. So many men feel weird about getting portraits taken "just because" and therefore, it seems like male sessions are much fewer and farther between than female shoots. I am always impressed when men also like to get dressed up and have their portraits taken. Everyone should have pictures of themselves that make them feel confident and good about themselves.
 
 
 
This shoot was more unique than others I have done in the past. Bryce actually asked me if I would be willing to assist him with wardrobe for the shoot. Well, why not?! ;-) Met up with Bryce at my FAVORITE store of all time...ROSS...and helped him picked out a few different button-ups for this photo shoot. I have to say...I am REALLY pleased with how both of them photographed. It's amazing how much better portraits turn out when you are photographed wearing something that makes you feel great and you can tell Bryce felt good in his new duds!
