I don't follow celebrities...at all. So little in fact, that it might surprise you JUST how little I know. I don't even know many of their names....other than my handful of favorites. I don't know what designer they are wearing, who they are dating, what their favorite foods are, how they decorate their homes, how many times they have been arrested for DUIs, who they are cheating on and who with, etc. I didn't even know what/who a "Kardashian" even was until Jeff told me last year and I had to GOOGLE it. True story. I don't read magazines. I don't watch TV. All I know is what I happen to see out of the corner of my eye in the checkout stand or here on Facebook. I AM, however, VERY into good people - celebrity or not. Good people all over the world....no matter who they are or where they come from. I don't see money and affluence. I treat people the same whether they live in a trailer or in a mansion. I admire people the same, no matter their circumstances.....for what they do, how they treat others and how they serve. I love good people who do good things. I've never seen a movie with this gentleman in it. I did catch wind of his recent passing in a car accident. It wasn't his acting career that made me feel sad at his passing. Even as I type this, I can't even remember his name, since I never knew it to begin with. But watching the video below....about this particular aspect of his life that apparently, not many knew about....THIS touched my heart. Not because he is a celebrity, but because he is a man. A good man.....who cared for others so far beyond himself. So admirable. This is what I will remember most about this man.
Wishing you and your family a very healthy, happy new year!
