I know what you mean about trying to decide when to introduce your kids to friends/signifcant others. That's one of the harder parts of being a single Mom. But it looks like you've got that all under control and I'm glad y'all had a good time at the pageant. I'm also glad you are going to blog when you can. I love how you write and express yourself.

I agree with you about the over dramatization in the pageant, but I agree with you also that it's a good medium to introduce the kids to the story. I'm glad you had such a great time and good luck squeezing those 87 hours into 24! Hugs!!

The pageant needs to be UPDATED! The cheese in the script is the same as it's been since the beginning. Though, they added extra cheese a few years ago. I have no idea when it started, but I remember seeing the pageant in 1978!!! I loved it then. I was... dare I say? 12. But it's time to make it more... something?? My hubby grew up in the area and atually participated in the pageant a few times as a youth. He always wants us to go see it. I always say no.

I think the narrators in the Manti Pageant are just really annoying and actually distract from the message ... I was in the Hill Cumorah Pageant this year and the script and music are so much better!
