Before Christmas even came, I decided that the theme for 2011 for our little family would be "A Year of Many Memories." This past year, we did SO many fun things together...and THIS YEAR, I want to increase that by a whole heck of a lot!! I want 2011 to be a year filled with TONS of family time and happy memories. So, for family home evening, just before the new year, I sat down with my babies and, together, we came up with our 2011 "Bucket List." This is a list of things we want to do together throughout 2011.....
1. Visit a fire station
2. Go to Opa's cabin
3. Go bowling at Fat Cats
4. Go swimming at Aunt Jill & Uncle Derek's house
5. Go to Lagoon
6. Go on a hike
7. Have a picnic in the mountains
8. Go camping
9. Go boating
10. Go to a police station
11. Ride the train downtown & visit SLC Library
12. Write a story
13. Learn how to play chess
14. Go to Wheeler Farm
15. Go sledding
16. Visit a rest home
17. Go to the Dinosaur Museum
18. Paint pictures
19. Design our own game
20. Make cards and send to military
21. Learn how to lead music correctly
22. Memorize a poem and perform for our family
23. Go on a trip to St. George
24. Go to the zoo
25. Go to a splashpark
26. Build a snowman
27. Feed the homeless (if we're old enough)
28. Take hot cocoa to construction workers
29. Go to the beach at Bear Lake
30. Have our family over to our house for a BBQ
31. Visit Rock Creek (if they will let us) to see how they make pizza
32. Learn how to make homemade butter
33. Make homemade pizza together
34. Learn how to make bread
35. Go fishing
36. Visit the Clark Planetarium
37. Go see a play
38. Go visit Duke at his new house
39. Have a house party
40. Ride a horse
We started out the year with a BANG, by already crossing off one of the things on our list on JANUARY 1ST of this year. But you'll have to wait a few days to find out just what that was. COMING VERY SOON! Though NOT on our "Bucket List," here is a fun picture of us together after seeing "MEGAMIND" in 3D tonight!! Such a fun night...oooh, ooh, OOOOH...I can't wait to make more memories with my little ones!!! So looking forward to our Year of Many Memories...and sharing all of it with you.
